Tire is 27.4" tall and wheen arch has been raised approx. 60mm. I think there's still need to raise it a bit more. |

Car is now ready for bodywork. I still have to find somekind of wheels to get it rolling. Next stop will be with someone who is able to fabricate all mounts to mount the body to the chassis and do some rust work also. Body is not all rotten but there's still lots of welding to be done.

Progress finally
Finally there has been some progress with the frame. The body is on the frame for mock up purposes and as always there are a lot of things that has to be done differently.
This is the main problem. At ride height the rear frame will be 150mm from the ground and the trailing are arms already pointing upwards. Relatively easy fix though, just needs new mounting tabs to be welded 100mm higher. Pushrod will also need to be relocated.

Summer is coming
I tried to sell my heads with no luck so I decided to assemble the engine again. I will try to sell it as a complete unit but as it most probably will not happen I'm forced to drive the car again this summer.
Heads were refreshed with new intake valves and they were also machined for a bit more compression. Small weld was required for the broken cooling fin which had been broken since new.
